Here on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic in Sosua, all water activities are shut down for Easter Weekend, Semana Santa.
The weekend is an incredible celebration and a "must experience" for both residents and visitors alike.
The police, the military and volunteer groups patrol the beach to help keep everyone safe and ensure that the consequences of the partying are kept under control.
This past weekend was amazing - sun, surf, sand, music, and families enjoying all of it!
